New Winners Streak On Line Next After Wilmot Loses Fourth To Weather

(Wilmot, Wis., Saturday, June 4, 2022)–Morning rains and a poor forecast resulted in Wilmot Raceway cancelling the planned Sprint Car Spectacular on Saturday, June 4.  This marks the fourth rain out for the 2022 season at Wilmot, and third attempt to have 410 winged sprint cars which was lost to weather.

    The next scheduled event for the 1/3-mile clay oval is Saturday, June 11 featuring the AutoMeter/Brewington Electric Wisconsin WingLESS Sprints, Modifieds, Street Stocks and Bandit 4-Cylinder Stock Cars.

    Those four classes have yet to have a duplicate feature winner in the two nights which they have competed thus far.  

    Grandstands open at 5 p.m. with on track activity at about 5:45 and racing at about 6:30 p.m.  Pits open at 3 p.m.

    Adult grandstand admission is $15.00 ages 12 and over, $5.00 ages 7-11, with ages 6 & under admitted free.  Pit passes are $27.

    Coming up on Friday, June 17 will be a truck and tractor pull along with combine demolition derby.  A Father’s Day Special will be on Sunday, June 19featuring WingLESS Sprints, Modifieds, Street Stocks and Bandits.
