LUXEMBURG RACING SHOW CHANGES NAME TO WISCONSIN MOTORSPORTS EXPO
(10TH ANNUAL SHOW SET FOR FEBRUARY 1, 2025)
(Luxemburg, WI) August 6 – The popular Luxemburg Racing Show has switched its name to Wisconsin Motorsports Expo. The 2025 show is scheduled to be held February 1 at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds Exposition Building in Luxemburg, Wisconsin.
2025 will mark the 10th year for the show – which serves as a popular off season gathering among the local and regional motorsports community. According to show organizer Derek Moede, the name change was necessary as many people who’ve asked to join the event’s Facebook page have been mistaking it for the race track Luxy Raceway which hosts races at the same Fairgrounds in Luxemburg.
The name isn’t the only thing that will be changed with regards to the show. “I’m currently working on creating a better system for vendors instead of the mail information and also include an option for online registration,” Moede said. “We will still do the mailers for vendors but also want to create something where vendors can sign up online. We’ll be working on that and will announce details of that soon.”
Vendor information will still be sent out via the United States Postal Service October 1. The event in recent years has been sold out and the event draws vendors not just from northeastern Wisconsin but neighboring Midwestern states as well.
Fans are still encouraged to like the event’s Facebook page with its new name Wisconsin Motorsports Expo and continue to follow that page for updates in the coming months.
The show hours on Feb. 1, 2025 will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can reach Moede at (920) 639 4455 for additional information.
In addition to the multiple racing-related vendors and racetracks who have displays the show serves as a great swap meet and drivers sell all sorts of new and used race parts, equipment, and supplies. The heated expo building, located on the east end of the fairgrounds, provides ample space for tables, booths, and exhibits.
More than 600 people made their way through the doors of the show in 2024.
