DISCLAIMER: Writing this is difficult, between announcing and writing an interesting story for fans to be able to read the night after is CHALLENGING. I cannot thank Eddie enough for doing this weekly…. So please be patient with this week’s race report, I PROMISE you I am triple checking spelling and grammar… but it will not be perfect and last names might be accidentally spelled wrong. I don’t mean to misspell anything.
This is my first one doing it solo (Along with Joe Orsini supervising) with Eddie celebrating getting married this weekend.
FEATURE, HEAT & LCQ RESULTS

The 25 of Derek Fehling also getting tangled in the action which ended his night early. When we restarted the race with no laps completed we had Besaw and Garceau leading the way. Battling their way through the 5th and 6th row we’d see Sobiesczyk and Kemkes break into the top 5. Caution was thrown again when JJ Vanderloop spun in turn 2. 15 laps remained when Besaw took the green flag once again. The 07 of Kemkes from the 6th row took the lead on lap 7 and drove it home for the night taking the checkered. 24- Jayden Schmidt (2), 27- Tyler Sobiesczyk (3), 11S- Jeff Schmuhl (4), 464- Ryan Schmidt.

IMCA SPORT COMPACT FEATURE: This feature hosted the most passing throughout the night with constant battles for the lead between numerous contenders. Leading the way for the start is the energon powered 10 of Bo White. He held off top fierce competition until lap 6 where David Cox took over the lead. Trouble on the front stretch on lap 7 would group the cars back together for another restart. Cox would lead the way back to the green. The race lead would battle it out three and four wide between Cox, Jorgenson, Everard, and Deprez. The yellow flag would be thrown again with 8 laps in. Cox lead us back to green immediately challenged by Deprez and Jorgenson, but he holds them off until lap 14 when Deprez would take the lead by only a nose. Cox slides up the race track providing some wiggle room for Everard and Jorgenson to attack for the second and third place spot. Everard sneaks the 8 machine up to the front to take it on lap 17. Everard had the lead with 3 laps to go with Jorgenson and Deprez breathing down his neck. White flag waves with Everard and Deprez door to door at the line. With two turns left to do it, at the line Deprez takes it at the line by a front bumper. (2) Tony Everard, (3) Kyle Jorgenson, (4) 23B Matt Brehmer, (5) 125 David Cox.
HEAT WINS 1) 125- David Cox 2) 43B- Michael Brehmer 3) 111-Kyle Jorgenson
UNIFIED STREET STOCK FEATURE: Getting going on the gas pedal quickly was the 15 of Ben Schulte who led the way for half the race until the caution flag waved for debris on the raceway. Schulte led the way back to green battling to hold off last week’s feature winner and points leader, James Fletcher. He also had to hold off contender Paul White. When lap 12 rolled around, we had a four way battle for Schulte, White, Krahn, and Fletcher to go three wide for the battle for the lead. Lap 13 showed White as the new race leader. The battle would remain consistent with lead changes through the laps when Van Straten would possibly hold of his competitors from lap 17 on. Krahn was however planning his attack and setting up a possible lead change for the final turns of the race when the white flag waved. Krahn and Van Straten would go door to door on the white flag. At the line on the final lap Jesse Krahn would take it by less then 2 tenths of a second making it his 6th feature event win of the season.
