(Wilmot, Wis., Saturday, July 18, 2020)– Davey Ray of Indianapolis, Indiana became the sixth different Autometer/Brewington Electric Wilmot Raceway feature winner in as many events Saturday, July 18. Jimmy Sivia of Winthrop Harbor, IL was second with Derek Crane of Waukegan, IL third. Eagle’s Steve Mueller won his second modified main event of the year, inheriting the lead when mechanical woes sidelined early race leader Nick Simons. Waterford’s Mike Wittenburg was second. Genoa City’s Mike Simons was third, overcoming a flat tire on the initial start of the main which sent him to the back of the field. Pleasant Prairie’s Josh Gehrig won his second street stock feature of 2020. Pell Lake’s Cody Potter was second. Milwaukee’s Mark Baker third. Janesville’s Derek Dixon made his first Wilmot Bandit 4-cylinder stock car start of the season memorable overcoming runnerup Ryan Johnson of Salem in the closing laps for the win. John Cole of McHenry, IL was third. Wilmot Raceway’s second night of the doubleheader weekend will be Sunday, July 19 featuring the Bumper to Bumper Interstates Racing Association Winged Sprint Cars, Autometer/Brewington Electric Wingless Sprints and Bandit 4-Cylinder Stock Cars.
