Wi Dirt Racin Points Series
Wi Dirt Racin is celebrating four years of successful growth in promoting dirt track racing across the state. For that, we would like to give something back to those who have been critical to that growth. Without the drivers who have voluntarily chosen to display Wi Dirt Racin on their cars, and promote us, we would be merely another overlooked website on the World Wide Web. And of course the fans, who have helped us just as much, if not more. This year we have big plans.
First and foremost, for the fans we plan to give more tickets away. Our number one goal is to get fans in the seats of every racetrack in the state. We would also like to see more new fans. Wi Dirt Racin has a commitment to expanding the fan base of dirt track racing, and each year we aim higher. So expect to see more tickets given away as the season comes along. We are also planning a little more in the charity department. The ball has already started rolling, and I can’t reveal too much about it yet, but look toward the fall specials for an event to raise money for charity. There will be more news on that in the coming months. And as usual, we will be contributing in some way for to the Racing For A Reason at Shawano Speedway.
But there is one thing I have been pushing for a few weeks now that I know many drivers are curious about. The new 2015 Wi Dirt Racin points system. This year, drivers won’t just display WiDirtRacin.com on their cars for the stylish web address, the cool name, or even the bonus Driver Profile page. Nope, this time it’s for points! And thanks to Jesse Fuller and Performance Motorsports, those points will be worth something!

Rules:
1. WiDirtRacin.com must be clearly displayed on the car. Photo must be submitted for verification. Photos can be submitted to either [email protected] or private message to Facebook.com/WiDirtRacin
2. Track and/or normal sanctioning rules apply. If you are caught outside of those rules, it will result in a disqualification for the season and a loss of all points accumulated.
3. I can’t keep track of everybody, so starting and finishing positions must be submitted to me within one week of each race. Results not submitted within one calendar week will not be counted. (Positions may be verified throughout the season.) All results will be submitted via the “Results Submission Form” that will be posted after March 29th.
4. Points will be based on 25 nights for full season and 13 points for mi-season.
5. Only regular track point events count for points. Special events will not qualify.
6. In the event of a tie for 1st place, the total prize for 1st and 2nd will be combined and split, and handed out to the co-champions. So if there are two that tie for the season championship, the 1st place ($100) and 2nd place ($50) will be added together ($150) and each champion will get $75. A three way tie will also include the third place winnings as will, split among three people.
7. All entrants must be registered on or before Sunday, March 29th at 7:00 pm.
NOTE: As of Sunday, March 29th, the entry form will be taken down and there will not be any more new entries accepted. If you have not submitted a photo for confirmation by that time, that is ok. I know that not everybody has their cars done yet. As of March 29th, you will have until April 12th (2 weeks) to either send me a photo, or at least contact me to let me know when you will have it done. If I do not see a photo or hear from you by that time, you will not be entered.
