Schedule Change Announced For Rice Lake Speedway Late Model Program
By Ed Reichert
Rice Lake WI, March 4- The Rice Lake Speedway has announced that they have made a slight alteration to their 2020 racing schedule as it pertains to the first Late Model program planned for the track this year. Due to a scheduling conflict and to better allow as many Late Model drivers as possible to attend the opening event, the Trackside Collectibles 40, has been moved back one week and will now be held on Saturday night, May 9th which was the original rain date slated for the program.
All other details of the program will remain as they were planned and a full five division program of WISSOTA auto racing will be included in the May 9th show.
The originally planned date for the Late Model show, May 2nd, will now be instead a full five division program featuring WISSOTA Modifieds, Super Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Street Stocks and Pure Stocks. Warm ups for both shows are slated for 6:30 pm with racing to follow.
The other three Late Model races planned at the speedway are on as scheduled with another $1,200 to win show planned for June 20th while the Structural Buildings WISSOTA Challenge Series will visit the track twice in 2020, on May 23rd and August 1st with a $2,000 top prize being offered both nights.
