ROOKIE JAYDEN SCHMIDT TOPS IMCA MODIFIED STANDINGS AT OUTAGAMIE SPEEDWAY

(Seymour, WI) September 3, 2022 Press Release-Outagamie Speedway was forced to pull the pin on the final point night of the season as mother nature made the track un-raceable. Champions crowned in all five divisions.
Despite being a rookie, Seymour’s Jayden Schmidt took top honors in the Professional Plating IMCA Modifieds. Schmidt recorded 2 feature wins on the season. He will also claim the Wisconsin State Championship.
Veteran racer Kyle Frederick of Oconto Falls picked up his second championship of the season in the Baliegh Industrial IMCA Stock Cars. Not only did Frederick win the title at Outagamie, he also took top spot at the Burg Speedway. Frederick will also take home the Wisconsin State Championship.
In the Gandrud Chevrolet Performance IMCA Sport Mods it was Ryan Schmidt of Hortonville winning his second championship in a row. One Schmidt’s 3 feature wins include a $700 payday.
James Fletcher of Beaver Dam also scored back-to-back championships in the Trailer Express LLC Unified Dirt Street Stocks. Fletcher picked up one feature on the season. Fletcher is currently leading the standings at Beaver Dam Raceway.
Kaukauna’s Thomas Schulte had a stellar season with 2 feature wins enroute to the championship in the Midwest Equipment Dock and Lift Service IMCA Sport Compacts. Schulte has a 1-point advantage in the State points.
Two huge nights remain at the speedway. The first coming on Saturday, September 10th with the Prelude to the Fall Brawl. Modifieds, Stock Cars, Sport Mods, Grand Nationals, Street Stocks and Sport Compacts will be in action. Racing starts at 5:30pm Draw-redraw
The final event of the 2022 season will be on Saturday, September 17th for the Annual Fall Brawl featuring the Dirt Kings Late Model Tour along with Modifieds, Stock Cars, Sport Mods, Grand Nationals, Street Stocks and Sport Compacts. Racing starts at 4:30pm Draw-redraw
