By Ed Reichert

Rice Lake WI – Although it might not quite look like racing season outside, the drivers that race at the Rice Lake Speedway are ready to show off their new or updated racing equipment for the 2023 racing season. This will take place as a long standing relationship with Rice Lake’s Cedar Mall will see the cars and drivers of the speedway take over the Mall this coming weekend.

The cars will roll into the Mall on Thursday night, March 30th beginning at 6 pm and they will stay in the Mall until closing time on Sunday, April 2nd.

Cars and drivers that represent all the classes that will be racing at the track during the 2023 racing season are expected to be on display including Pure Stocks, Street Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Super Stocks, Modifieds, Limited Late Models, WISSOTA Late Models and Sprint Cars along with Karts from the Rice Lake Speedway Speed Pit Kart track located on the grounds of the speedway.

Officials of both tracks are expected to be on hand during the weekend and schedules for both track should be available. Any racing team that would like to put their car on display at the Mall should give Kevin Adams a call at 715-642-0700.
