Rice Lake Speedway Car Show Scheduled

Rice Lake WI – Following the big announcement recently concerning the sale of the Rice Lake Speedway, the new owners, Rice Lake Speedway LLC have settled in and begun the many tasks needed to update the facility and get ready for the 2024 season opener which is scheduled for Saturday night, April 20^th.

Their first official event following the sale will be the annual Rice Lake Speedway car show, to be held at Rice Lake’s Cedar Mall, as it has been for many years. This year’s event is scheduled for March 27^th through March 30^th. Because of the Easter holiday falling on that Sunday, the car show schedule has been slightly modified. Race cars will enter the Mall on Wednesday night at 6 pmand must be removed from the Mall on Saturday, March 30^th at 3 pm.

Cars that race in every class at the speedway are expected to be a part of the show as well as Karts that race at the Rice Lake Speedway Speed Pit Kart track also on the speedway property. Kolby Kiehl, spokesman for Rice Lake Speedway LLC, is welcoming all race cars and Karts to be a part of the program.

This will be the first official opportunity for fans and competitors to meet the new owners of the speedway, Kolby and Dean Kiehl along with Dick Kalow and they look forward to sharing their vision for the speedway with all racers and fans. Schedules for the 2024 racing season are expected to be available as well as other information about the upcoming season.
