Rice Lake Speedway Cancels Late Model Special

Rice Lake WI, May 4 – The Rice Lake Speedway was scheduled to host the WISSOTA Late Models for their first visit of the year on Saturday night, May 9th for the Trackside Collectibles 30. With the continued shut down of racing in the state, that event will obviously not take place. Management hopes to reschedule that event to a later date this Summer once racing begins and tracks are able to finalize their schedules for the rest of the racing season.
As far as the Rice Lake Speedway is concerned, everything remains on hold, as they wait for further developments at the national, state and county level for clarification. Drivers and fans are encouraged to continue to monitor the speedway face book page and website at www.ricelakespeedway.net because once the rules are changed, things are likely to develop quickly in terms of opening up the speedway.
