Rice Lake Speedway April 20th Practice Off, Rest of Weekend TBD

Rice Lake WI, April 20 – With an already wet racetrack and rain on the way, the opening activity of the 2022 racing season at the Rice Lake Speedway, a Wednesday night practice session, has been cancelled.
According to track co-owner Dave Adams, “The track is already wet and with the expected rain on Wednesday afternoon, there is no way that we can practice on that night.” As far as the other activities for the week, including another practice session on Thursday night, April 21st and the seventieth annual season opener slated for Saturday night, April 23rd, “ We will just have to see how much it rains on Wednesday. We will monitor track conditions and make an announcement regarding the other activities scheduled for this week sometime on Thursday morning.”
