LUXEMBURG RACING SHOW STILL ON FOR SATURDAY, JANUARY 30, 2021
(NEW LOCATION IN PLACE FOR 6TH ANNUAL SHOW)
(Luxemburg, WI) January 15 – The 6th annual Luxemburg Racing show will go on as planned Saturday, January 30, 2021 but the location of where the event will take place has changed.
The event will now be held at the Kellnersville Bar and Banquet Hall located in northern Manitowoc County, just minutes from 141 Speedway in Francis Creek.
“All winter long I had been re-assured by my contacts within Kewaunee County government that this show was still able to be held at the (Kewaunee County) Fairgrounds no problem,” Moede explained. “However early this week I was notified by county parks director David Meyer that despite their frequent reassurances that we could hold this event I was told because of Covid-19 concerns we would not be able to host the event in Luxemburg. I was very frustrated as I already have many vendors lined up for this show. To say I was disappointed in that news is an understatement.”
Not deterred by the news, Moede quickly searched to find another location for his venue. “Through the help of Greg Herrmann who was a partner in the Manitowoc Racing Show for years we were able to find another location in Kellnersville,” Moede explained. “We may have to juggle a few things around but the show will go on Saturday January 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.”
Parking for this event will be across the street. The bar will have drinks and food available all day long, including breakfast sandwiches in the morning. “We’re still looking at a sold out show so we’ll still be able to host this popular off season social event for the racing community.”
Now in its sixth year, the show allows racers to buy/sell or trade new or used race parts, equipment and supplies.
Among the vendors who’ve already committed to the show include The Burg Speedway of Luxemburg, 141 Speedway in Francis Creek, Racer’s Ed, Big G Carbs, K&E Sales of Clintonville, Diecast Car Collector, motorsports author Joe Verdegan and Outlaw Racing Chassis of Montello.
Nearly 600 people made their way through the doors of the show in 2020. The show hours run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Kellnersville Bar and Banquet is located at 1233 Main Street in Kellnersville, Wisconsin.
Adult admission is $5.00 (including vendors). Kids 12 and under are admitted free. Vendor tables are $20 and can be obtained by calling Moede at (920) 639 4455. You can become a member of the group “Luxemburg Racing Show” through Facebook as well. All up-to-date information regarding the show, including new vendors who sign up, will be released through this Facebook page.
