Hill Raceway Opener Sunday May 29th 5PM
Nathan Bouche Memorial and Car Show
(Sturgeon Bay, WI) May 25, 2022- The Hill Raceway kicks off its season opener this Sunday May 25th. The day will start off with a Car Show from 11:00am-2:00pm. Trophies will be awarded for best appearing cars in Sport Mods, Stock Cars, Unified Street Stocks, Sport Compacts and an Open Class that includes Hot Rods, Bikes or anything else that has wheels. We’re asking participants to arrive by 10:00am.
Racing gets underway at 5:00pm with the Sport Mods, Stock Cars, Unified Street Stocks and Sport Compacts. Drivers meeting at the concession stand at 4:30pm. Since it is our first point night of the season, a Draw Re-Draw format will set the field.
The night will pay tribute to the loving memory Nathan Bouche, son of Tony & Cheryl Bouche. Nathan was an eager teenager following in the footsteps of his father in the racing world before he unexpectedly passed away in 2004.
We will also honor the Weckler Family as they suffered the devasting loss of long time Door County racer, Wade “The Weapon” Weckler. Wade did a little bit of everything when it came to motorsports. He was a driver, fan and a great person who loved racing. We hope you will join us to celebrate the lives of Nathan and Wade.
