Rice Lake Speedway Dairyland Dash Details

Rice Lake WI – Final details concerning the first ever Dairyland Dash event to be held at the Rice Lake Speedway have been finalized and now released for the event to be held on Saturday night, August 31st and Sunday night, September 1st.

There will be six classes of cars racing both nights for this event with the five regular classes that compete weekly at the Rice Lake Speedway racing both nights. . That would include WISSOTA sanctioned Modifieds, Super Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Street Stocks and Pure Stocks. Along with those five classes, USRA sanctioned Late Models will also be in action. All six classes will be racing a full program on each night with national points available for all six classes.

The Modifieds will be racing for two thousand dollars to win each night with one hundred twenty five dollars to start the main event. The Super Stocks will be racing for fifteen hundred dollars to win each night with one hundred and twenty five dollars to start. The Midwest Modifieds and Street Stocks will be racing for a thousand dollars to win each night with one hundred dollars to start. The Pure Stocks will race for four hundred dollars to win and fifty dollars to start their main event and the Late Models will be running for twelve hundred dollars to win with one hundred dollars to start.

Non Qualifiers will receive one hundred dollars for the Modifieds and Super Stocks, seventy five dollars for the Midwest Modifieds and Street Stocks, fifty dollars for the Pure Stocks and one hundred dollars for the Late Models. Full details on the complete purse will be available on the speedway face book page shortly. Passing point will be used to determine the race lineups both nights.

There will be a draw fee for each class, ranging for twenty dollars for the Pure Stocks, to thirty for the Street Stocks and Midwest Modifieds, forty for the Super Stocks and fifty five for the Modifieds. The USRA Late Models will have a draw fee of forty dollars.

Some great sponsors have come on board to help support the first annual Dairyland Dash. Tim’s Automotive Machine in Bloomer Wisconsin will be sponsoring the Modified class both nights. Mastercraft Industries in Rice Lake will be sponsoring the Street Stocks and Midwest Modifieds both nights also. Jock’s Towing and Repair in Spooner Wisconsin will be offering a Hard Charger award for all six classes each night, paying one hundred dollars to the Hard Charger in feature race action in each division. Other sponsorship details are expected to be released shortly.

Pit admission will be thirty five dollars per night. For the race fans, grandstand admission each night will be twenty dollars, with seniors paying fifteen dollars and kids ten dollars.

Pit gates will open at 2 pm on Saturday, August 31st with the draw cutoff at 4:30 pm and racing both nights at 5 pm. The grandstands will open at 3 pm for fans.

Rough camping will be available at forty dollars for the weekend. Fireword will be for sale and rings will be available to rent also. The will be a pancake breakfast open to the public on Sunday morningalong with other activities including an inflatable race.

The Dash weekend begins at the Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie Wisconsin on Friday night, August 30th with a special show for the WISSOTA sanctioned classes also. The Red Cedar show will however, have Hornets racing instead of the Pure Stocks and the USRA Late Models will join the action starting on Saturday at Rice Lake.
