Bartz and Arneson back in victory lane at Outagamie Speedway.

(Seymour, WI) June 16, 2023-Race Report presented by Klink Equipment and Elite Coatings Inc- 125 checked in to battle at Outagamie Speedway. There were 29 IMCA Modifieds, 27 IMCA Stock Cars, 26 IMCA Sport Mods, 21 IMCA Sport Compacts and 22 Unified Street Stocks.

Action was red flagged during the final heat race in the IMCA Sport Compacts. Tanner Pari of Clintonville had a rough ride when his car overturned and was struck by another car. Pari was extricated from his race car by safety personnel. He was awake and alert. He was taken to the local hospital. We currently have no other updates.

Fresh off a heat race win, Chris Pigeon paced the opening laps of the IMCA Modified feature. Pigeon ran the cushion as Jordan Bartz went to work down low. Bartz made the pass for the top spot on lap 4 and never looked back, cruising to her first feature win of the season and clean sweep on the night. Point leader Lucas Lamberies rallied late to place second, last week’s winner Cole Czarneski took fourth and Jason Ebert rounded out the top four. Fenton, Missouri’s Ken Schrader moved up 7 spots in the feature to place 12th.

Week in and week out the IMCA Stock Cars put on a show for the fans, this week was no exception. Aaron Karcz looked to have the field covered but several cautions kept his competitors close. Austin Jansen and Eric Arneson made it a 3-car battle for the lead, with Arneson coming out on top with 10 to go.

A caution with 5 to go set up a dash to the checker. Arneson worked the low groove as Chase Parker rallied on the cushion. Parker and Arneson exchanged the lead several times in the remaining laps. The duo came to the checker side by side. When the dust settled it was Arneson collecting the win by .007 seconds. Parker placed second, Rod Snellenberger was third and Larry Karcz Jr took fourth. With point leader Tyler Wilson and 2nd in points Nick Buckarma getting caught up in wrecks, Arneson inches closer to the point lead.

In IMCA Sport Mod action it was Skyler Woods pulling a slider on Bernie Miller with 4 laps remaining to take the lead. Once up front, Woods pulled away to score the win. Miller took a strong second, Chris Kuchta has his best run of the season to take third and Jordan Janke was fourth. The race went green to checker.

Point leader Paul Diefenthaler used some late race heroics to work by Shanon Guelette with 3 to go to score the win in the Unified Street Stocks. Guelette had to settle for second. For the first time since 2000, Travis Van Straten returned to the Street Stocks to place third and his son Trey was fourth.

Defending IMCA Sport Compact track champion Thomas Schulte celebrated the news that he and his wife Lexi are going to have a baby girl by scoring a clean sweep with a heat and feature win.  Cody Booth made a hard charge to the front to place second, Al Cottrell took third and Ben Schulte took home fourth in his first visit of the season. The race went green to checker.
