Action was red flagged on two separate occasions during the IMCA Sport Compact Heats as Bailey Akstulewicz and Don Walander both rolled over. Both drivers were ok but their cars weren’t able to continue.
Heartbreak in the IMCA Modifieds as Jordan Bartz looked well on her way to victory lane until her racer began to run rough on lap 15. Bartz slowed and rolled to the infield, ending a bid for her first win of the season. Hunter Parson who was able to secure the runner up position inherited the top spot. With a 52-point lead, Schmidt will earn his first Modified title.

Title contender Brett Wenzel placed a solid second, Jonathon Young crossed the stripe to place third but his car didn’t pass post-race technical inspection.
