PAUL PARKER & TAILAR NESS TOP OUTAGAMIE SPEEDWAY

(Seymour, WI) Outagamie Speedway Powered by EWSC 7/16/17
Race Report- 100 cars took the green flag with a great show that was done in less that 3 hours. Car counts 25 IMCA Stock Cars, 22 Street Stocks, 21 IMCA Sport Mods, 19 IMCA Modifieds and 13 IMCA Sport Compacts.
Paul Parker powered away from the field early in the IMCA

Modified main event with JJ Anderson giving chase. A caution on the 13th lap reset the field. As the green flew point leader Brian Mullen, Jason Czarapata and Benji LaCrosse joined in the chase of Parker. LaCrosse was the first to break free into the runner

up position. LaCrosse closed in on the final lap but it was Parker collecting his first victory of the season. LaCrosse was second, Czarapata took third, Anderson was fourth and Mullen completed the top five.
Pole sitter Lucas Lambries popped the cushion on the opening

lap of the IMCA Sport Mod feature allowing Tailar Ness to shoot by for the lead. Ness worked low as Lambries fell back. In the final 5 laps, Ness encountered heavy lap traffic in the racing groove. Forcing Ness to work many lines to get around the lappers.

This allowed Lambries to catch Ness on the final lap but it wasn’t enough as Ness scored a clean sweep and his first career feature win. Lambries was second, point leader Travis Hansen took third, Hunter Parson placed fourth and Kevin Bethke rounded out the

 top five.
Josh Van Haren paced the first 4 laps of the IMCA Stock

feature, until Brandon Gagnon took the lead. Gagnon’s reign up front only lasted a lap as Justin Jacobsen worked the low groove to the top spot on lap 6. Jacobsen went unchallenged the remainder of the event, as he pulled away from the field enroute to his

second feature win of the season. For the second week in a row, Rod Snellenberger was second, Gagnon had a strong run with third, point leader Chaz Van Ooyen raced to third after starting 12th and Devin Snellenberger won a 3-wide battle to finish 5th.
Gary Kasperek took the lead of the Street Stock feature

on lap 5 from Cory Wegner and looked to have the field covered as he pulled away. On lap 9 Kasperek slowed on the backstretch and coasted onto the infield, handing the lead back to Wegner. Wegner led the remaining 10 circuits to score his first ever feature

win at Outagamie Speedway. With a second place run Paul Ambrosius took over the point lead. Brady Baldry was third, fourth went to Jason Jenson and Harley Diedrick took fifth.
Mike Mier passed Nick Everard on lap 7 and scored the

win the IMCA Sport Compact feature. Everard took second, Mitch Mier brought home third, Lindsey Mullen started 13th and finish fourth, while Kyle Jorgenson placed fifth.
