Cow Bell Launches With 54 Car Inaugural Event

On May 5th, 2017, the Cow Bell Street Stock Tour invaded Luxemburg Speedway for the inaugural tour event with 54 Street Stocks showing up to do battle. Among these 54 cars there were 35 Tour cars that checked in, and 19 local favorites looking to cash in on the over $7000 total purse that was to be paid out. The Feature event on the night started 24 cars including some locals of Scott Boulanger, Dan Van Pay, and Jason Kostichka, as well as tour drivers traveling from all over the state including Jeff Richards, Scott Riedner, Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Anschutz, Paul Diefenthaler, Dave ‘The Hammer’ Degrave, James Randall, and many others. The battle for the lead consisted of 3 cars that mixed and matched throughout the race ending in a great last lap pass by Scott Boulanger to send Jeff Richards home as the best finishing tour car in second place. Following those two to the finish line were tour drivers Paul Ambrosius who earned one bonus point for leading the most laps, Dave ‘The Hammer’ Degrave, Jesse Krahn, Paul Diefenthaler, and rounding out the top 7 was James Randall who also earned one bonus point by being the hard charger.
