Dedication To Dirt
The “Dedication to Dirt” award is given each season to recognize an extra effort to racing. This may be
a person who races, works at the track, or volunteers in any way to make racing special.
This year’s recipient is Dick Hed who just completed of his 51st year in racing. During his long and
successful racing career he has won championships in multiple divisions and has stayed highly competitive
year after year.
During his career, he has spent thousands of hours with his race car while contributing to the
betterment of racing in other capacities.
Dick comes to the track with a smile but is focused when the green flag waves as proven by winning a
Feature race earlier this season (June 25th).
On behalf of all of the drivers, crews and fans, we proudly present this years Dedication to Dirt Award to
Dick Hed
