Beautiful weather welcomed drivers and spectators. Past champions were introduced during intermission. Badger Land Vintage Racers also ran with PDTR, bringing back lots of great memories.

Cellcom B-Mods rolled trackside first with Tim Sheppard (Beaver Dam) and Brian Konitzer (Sheboygan) leading the field. Green flew and drivers were three wide from first through twelfth place going down the backstretch. Drivers slowly settled into place, except for Sheppard, Brandon Berth (Cascade) and Larry Zirbel (Iron Ridge) competing for first. Berth went inside for the lead. Cody Eickberg (Plymouth) and Chad Vetting (Valders) swapped eighth place. Colton Van Hierden (Oshkosh) ran inside then outside fellow drivers in his search for the lead. Berth pulled out to lead and started pulling away. Sheppard and Zirbel continued to swap second. Patrick Hanson (Sheboygan Falls) pulled in the infield and Sheppard pulled off to the attention of his crew. Van Hierden attempted to take second from Zirbel as a yellow flag waved for corner tires on the racing surface. Berth restarted strong but Van Hierden went high and led lap twelve. Zirbel attempted to pass Berth for second but was unsuccessful. Four cars contested for fourth between Jeremy Walvoord (Howards Grove), Justin Green (Sheboygan Falls), Glen Blanke (Sheboygan Falls) and Vetting. Blanke and Zirbel touched allowing Green into fourth. Craig Gressner (Kewaskum) was black flagged for mechanical issues. Van Hierden came up on lapped traffic and still managed to pull away from Berth. Gary Glander (Sheboygan Falls) and Justin Bauer (Sheboygan Falls) ran side by side for ninth. Van Hierden held a backstretch lead over Berth and remainder of the field. Vetting looked to pass Walvoord as the checkers waved for Van Hierden followed by Berth, Walvoord, Vetting and Green. Hard Charger passing 9 was Colten Van Hierden.

Grand Nationals were out next with Matt Loehr (Mt. Calvary) and Melissa Singer (Waldo) setting the pace. Loehr pulled out to lead lap one. Brian Gilles (Plymouth) was blacked flagged mechanical and then drew a caution because he was leaking an unsafe amount of fuel. Loehr had a strong restart over Singer and Dan Sorce (Franklin). Don Sorce Jr. (West Allis) went outside Josh Pierce (Fredonia) for fifth. Tim Simon (Fond du Lac) went outside Matt Yancey (Sheboygan) for eleventh. Luke Scholten (Oostburg) left the track with mechanical issues. Melissa Singer continued to hold off Brian Cesar (Sheboygan) and Dan Sorce for second. Cesar finally made the move and went low on Singer in turn three with Steven Weber (Plymouth) following. Dan Sorce got too high and squirrely losing a few spots. Dan Sorce and Don Sorce Jr. battled over fifth place; Mark Fieber (Cascade) looked to join in. Ceasar had company of Weber for second. Pierce and Justin Erickson (Plymouth) battled for ninth. Gilles went outside Richard Hed (Plymouth) for fourteenth after restarting at the rear of the field. Loehr caught up to lapped traffic and got sideways out of turn two. Cesar and Weber closed in on Loehr for the lead. Jonathon Singer (Random Lake) brought out a caution after stopping in turn four. Kurt Davis (West Allis) driving Pete Lester’s car retired to the pits with a flat tire. With the field realigned, Loehr was out front with some heavy hitters behind. Weber went outside Loehr on the restart but unable to make his car stick. Jeff Lammers (Plymouth) went outside of Melissa Singer for seventh. Lammers broke and retired to the pits early, then Erickson spun and parked in the infield, Jonathon Singer pulled into the infield too. Checkers flew for Loehr, followed by Cesar, Weber, Fieber and Dan Sorce. Hard Charger passing 7 was Mark Fieber.

Aldag-Honald Mechanical Sprints pushed off next with Andrew Westphal (Fond du Lac) and Brandon McMullan (Plymouth) setting the pace. Drivers got bunched up on the start and Donny Goeden (Kewaskum) came to a rest on the backstretch, caution waved for Goeden with a flat tire. McMullen lined up first on the restart. Lance Fassbender (Burnett) snuck past Westphal for second. Jason Johnson (Campbellsport) looked to pass Jim Melis (Glenbeulah) for seventh. Paul Pokorski (West Bend), Kurt Davis (West Allis) and Tyler Brabant (Waupun) were three wide for seventeenth. Jim Melis and Kevin Karnitz (West Bend) battled for tenth. McMullen up to lapped traffic and maneuvered through it smoothly. Yellow flew for debris in turn 4. McMullen started out front and held onto the lead with a hard charging Fassbender. Another quick yellow flew for Johnson who slowed on the high side. McMullen had another great restart until an immediate red flew for three cars coming together and Justin Miller (Plymouth) going up and over. McMullen held the top spot as Tim Haddy (Waupun) split the cars behind and worked his way up to fourth. Ryan Mayr (New Hostein) did a three sixty bringing out another quick caution. Fassbender was wishing that he could get McMullen on the restarts. Dannon Tessmer (Allenton), Fassbender, Melis and Goeden all competed for seventh. Goeden maneuvered high and low in his search for the leader. McMullen up to lapped traffic. Danny Schlaffer (Sussex) outside Brabant for fifth, while Davis went inside Melis for eighth. McMullen into side by side lapped traffic and Fassbender attempting to use lap traffic to pass McMullen. Coming to the checkers Fassbender makes one last attempt but finishes second to McMullen. Third went to Haddy followed by Westphal and Schlaffer. Hard Chargers passing 12 each were Tim Haddy and Kurt Davis

Chris Carlson (Union Grove) and Jim Schmidt (Ceveland) brought the Johnsonville Sausage Late Models field to the green. Carlson led lap one with Taylor Scheffler (Waukesha) inside Jim Schmidt for second. Charlie Schmidt (Oostburg) went outside Billy Rezutek (Big Bend) for ninth. David Jaeger (West Bend) brought out our only caution after coming to a stop in turn four. Tony Peterson (Big Bend), Jim Schmidt and Rick Scheffler (Waukesha) were three wide for third. Carlson maintained his position out front. Mitch McGrath (Waukesha) battled outside Turk Letizia (Milwaukee) for seventh. Eric Michaels (Cleveland) retired to the pits early with mechanical issues. Charlie Schmidt went outside Ron Stroika (Mukwonago) for twelfth. Peterson spun into the infield. Letizia, Rick Scheffler and Brad Mueller (Random Lake) battled three wide for seventh. Taylor Scheffler looked outside Carlson for the lead; Jim Schmidt looked inside Carlson with Tim Buhler (Glenbeulah) right behind. Letizia and Rezutek swapped ninth. Jaeger and Stroika ran side by side for eleventh. Jim Schmidt looked inside Taylor Scheffler for second, meanwhile Buhler waited to take over third. McGrath and Justin Schmidt were by themselves mid pack watching all the swapping up front. Carlson was up to single file lapped traffic. Carlson attempted to go high then low through traffic. Traffic helped then hurt Carlson’s lead; Jim Schmidt went for the lead. Carlson managed to pull out and lead crossing the checkers first followed by Jim Schmidt, Mitch McGrath, Tim Buhler and Taylor Scheffler. Hard Charger passing 12 cars was Mitch McGrath
