Ashland, WI, May 28 — Significant rainfall from the past week in the Chequamegon Bay area, combined with a forecast for more precipitation, forced the Board of Directors of the ABC Raceway to cancel its Armed Forces Night race program, to have been presented by the Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce, on Saturday.
The make-up features from the shortened May 21 season opener will now be rescheduled over the next couple of race nights.
The next scheduled race program is set for Saturday, June 4, when Little Caesar’s Pizza of Ashland will host the annual Kids’ Meet the Drivers Night festivities. Fans of all ages will be welcomed onto the track to get an up-close look at the race cars and meet their favorite drivers. Also included in the program will be the make-up features for the WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds and the ABC Six-Cylinders.
There will be no pit meeting that night; the on-track meet-and-greet session will start promptly at 6:45 pm.
