Craig Gessner (Kewaskum) sprinted to an early lead over John Rothmund (Manitowoc), while rookie Andy Weiss (Green Bay) watched them battle it out on the wide tacky track. Mechanical demons doomed Gessner however, as Rothmund swept around the outside for the lead and the win.

SPORT FOURS
Anxious drivers caused two false starts with Chilton’s Shawn Bangart being sent to the rear of the field, Sheboygans Mike Zitzer took the lead. Ben Meyerhofer (Menasha) and Cory Romenesko (Kaukauna) chased him down by the midway mark, while Bangart scratched his way back into the top 3. Bangart caught Romenesko and took over second while Meyerhofer cruised to the win.

PROFESSIONAL PLATING INC. GRAND NATIONALS
Cedar Grove’s Jonathon Otte led the first lap of the Professional Plating Inc. Grand National main event, while Justin Green (Sheboygan Falls) and Steven Weber (Plymouth) reeled him in. Green and Weber moved in the top 2 spots, and made contact a short time later, causing a caution, and collecting Tim Simon (Fond du Lac) send all three to the rear. Ryan Minster led the restart, while Brad Lubach (Elkhart Lake, subbing for his brother) and Brian Gilles (Plymouth) moved in to challenge. Lap 11 produced another yellow and a rough ride for Minster as something broke and sent him into the track markers, destroying the front end of his car. Lubach took charge, holding off Gilles, Matt Yancey (Sheboygan), and Brad Juckem (Chilton) for the win. Hard Charger honors to Yancey, passing 12 cars for a well earned fourth place.

Tom Schnicke (Howards Grove) led Jerry Duggan (Two Rivers) early in the Topless 20 for the Professional Plating Inc. Sport Modifieds. Cody Eickberg (Plymouth) overtook Schnicke quickly, bringing Robby Thiel (Appleton) and Cody Schroeder (Manitowoc) with him. After a caution at the halfway mark for a spinning Phil Mott (Two Rivers), Eickberg led a pair of drivers who fought their way up from deep in the field in Brian Bruechert (Kewaunee) and Travis Arenz (Sheboygan) and Thiel. Arenz and Bruechert battled mightily behind Eickberg, but could not catch him while Wyatt Block (Tigerton) clawed his way to the hard charger award picking up 15 spots.

BAILEIGH INDUSTRIAL LATE MODELS
Mitch McGrath (Waukesha) bolted to the lead of the Baileigh Industrial Late Model feature, but a spinning James Letizia (Milwaukee) caused an early caution. On the restart Jim Schmidt (Cleveland) spun, collecting Taylor Scheffler (Waukesha), while McGrath headed to the pits with mechanical issues. Teammate Rick Scheffler (Waukesha) inherited the lead with Turk Letizia (Milwaukee) and Randy Markwardt (Sheboygan) right behind. Letizia and Tim Buhler (Glenbeulah) battled side by side for 15 laps, with Justin Schmidt (Cleveland) on their heels looking for someone to slip. Scheffler rolled under checkers picking up the win, with Buhler, Schmidt, and Letizia in pursuit. Buhler picked up Hard Charger honors, passing 7 cars.

PROFESSIONAL PLATING INC 360 SPRINT CARS
Starting on the pole of the Professional Plating Inc. 360 Feature, Paul Pokorski (West Bend) shot to the lead, with Mitchell Yurmanovich (Cascade) giving chase. While the leaders stretched the lead, Justin Miller (Plymouth) and Kyle Marten (Sheboygan Falls) sliced through the field quickly, moving in to challenge Pokorski as both got around Yurmanovich quickly. The leaders encountered lapped traffic just after halfway, giving Miller the opportunity to blast past Pokorski on the bottom, while Marten looked for an opening. Miller broke while leading on Lap 22, handing the lead back to Pokorski, and setting up a 3 lap shootout. On the restart, contact sent Marten flipping violently out of the track in Turn 4. He emerged unhurt although the car was destroyed. Pokorski led the final 3 laps for the win, with Yurmanovich and Kurt Davis (West Allis) chasing him across.
