The Eagle Falls to Rain
on August 9, 2015 at 5:06 pmJim Falls, Wisconsin (August 09, 2015) the Eagle Valley Speedway was forced to cancel its scheduled action due to heavy storms late in the week and a late thunderstorm on Sunday afternoon. The racing action will return on Sunday, August 16, 3015 as Quality Propane and Fuels sponsors the EVS Hornets, EVS Pure Stocks, and the WISSOTA Poly Dome Dirt Track Series sanctioned Street Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Super Stocks, and Modifieds. Once again, Oium Blacktop and Kelly Oium Well Drilling and Pump Service will give away a bicycle to one lucky boy and girl!
It will be the final night of track points in which several classes have championships up for grabs. In the closest battle, Tommy Richards leads Mike Anderson by 12 and Mark Stender by 28 point in the Super Stocks. Lesser close, yet certainly not official, Shane Halopka holds a solid 46 point lead over Nick Koehler in the Midwest Modifieds, Danny Richards is 34 points ahead of Tyler Wahlstrom and 46 ahead of Nate Hauge in the Street Stocks, and Darrell Komro has a 48 point advantage over Dan Prissel in the Hornets. Mike Anderson and George Richards have each already claimed the season’s titles in the Modifieds and Pure Stocks, respectively.
