IRA IS COMING TO TOWN.

Joining our five regular weekly divisions as racing returns to the Seymour Speedway this week, Sunday August 2, will be the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Winged Sprint Cars. This program being sponsored by Bumper to Bumper of Seymour.

This will be the only appearance at the banked 1/3 mile oval this season and has been a “must not miss” date on the schedule. Last years race was a 30 lap non-stop race won by Bill Balog, and helped him earn the series championship last year. He is not competing full time this season but plans to be in Seymour to defend his title.

Car counts have been close to and above 30 cars all season and a full field is expected in Seymour as well. This is the final race of a triple header weekend for IRA. They run Friday at Antigo, Saturday at Plymouth and close out Sunday night here is Seymour.

Add to that, our full five division program returns to action as well. Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Coors Light IMCA Stock Cars, O’Reilly Auto Parts IMCA Sport Mods, Turbo Blue Street Stocks and 4 Cylinders along with the Spectator Eliminators will make for a full, action packed racing program Sunday night.
