David Reinhardt raced to the top spot of the IMCA Stock Car feature until a 3-wide battle ensued with John Anschutz and Jamie Suchocki. Anschutz made it stick down low on lap 4, ending the 3-wide battle as he took the lead. Suchocki hounded Anschutz but got too high and lost ground, giving Billy LeMieux second place. A caution for Kevin Luedtke slowed the field on lap 6. Reinhardts machine encounter problems under caution, sending him to the tail end of the field. On the restart the lead trio of Anschutz, LeMieux and Suchocki set to battle it out, racing side by side. Suchocki gained the edge on Anschutz at the midway point taking the lead. LeMieux raced to the back bumper of the leader in the final laps but had to settle for second. Suchocki got out the broom, scoring a clean sweep on the night. Anschutz was third followed by Dave Bouche and Uncle Tony Bouche.

Week in and week out the IMCA Hobby Stocks put on some of the best racing any fan or announcer could ask for. Travis LuMaye and Justin Hartel traded the lead early in the contest with LuMaye winning that battle. Title contender Dave Schmidt quickly raced to the runner up position and began to pressure the leader, taking the lead away with 9 laps remaining. Point leader Marcus Moede worked around LuMaye and Ford Malvitz to gain second. Schmidt pulled away from the field and looked to have clear sailing until the caution flew with 4 laps to go. This set up a battle of the title contenders. The green flew and Moede went to work. With 1 lap to go Moede pulled inside of Schmidt as the pair entered turn 1, they made heavy contact. Both drivers were able to gather it back up but the contact allowed Schmidt a little breathing room on the final lap as he scored his 4th feature win of the season. Moede, Malvitz, LuMaye and CJ Weckler rounded out the top five.

An opening lap caution for Billy LeMieux sent him to the back of the pack for the Street Stock feature as Kipp Burlo raced to the lead on the restart. LeMieux proceeded to race like a mad man through the field and to the lead in 6 laps. A lap later Burlo went spinning in turn 3 collecting Jimmy Anderson and Chris Konitzer. Burlo returned after a trip down pit lane, the others were done for the night with heavy damage. LeMieux led the rest of the way en route to a clean sweep and his 3rd win of the season. Point leader James Dahlstrom was second, Phil Faustini third, Burlo fourth and rookie Michael Wagner was fifth.

Jacob Zellner led flag to flag in the IMCA Sport Mods to earn a clean sweep with his 3rd feature win of the season. Josh Lambert stayed within striking distance the entire event but wasn’t able to challenge Zellner. Cody Rass, Bernie Reinhardt and Jarred VanLaanen completed the top five. The race went green to checker.

IMCA Modified point leader Greg Gretz used his Ford horsepower to take the lead away from Randy Theys on lap 3. Gretz raced through a couple of cautions and went unchallenged for his 2nd feature win in a row and 3rd of the season. Joel Seegert made the best of his first visit to the track placing second, followed by Theys and Tyler DeBouche.

The Thunder Truck division doubled in size as Thunderhill video man Tory Peterson put down the camera for a few races to make his first appearance in the division. Although it was a solid outing, Nathan Delsart was victories in the first official heat and feature. With more seat time and more trucks being built, we could see some great racing very soon in this entry level division. For complete rules go to racethunderhill.com
