Ashland, WI, July 19 — The ABC Raceway has announced that reserved seating, camping sites and pit spots are now available for the 40th annual Red Clay Classic, to be held October 2-3, 2015, at the track.
The Northland’s traditional stock car racing season finale will once again feature WISSOTA-sanctioned Midwest Modifieds, Super Stocks and Modifieds, as well as the mighty WISSOTA Late Models, which will be making their only scheduled appearance of the season on the three-eighths-mile northern Wisconsin red-clay oval.
The weekend’s action will include heat races on Friday night, and last-chance qualifying races and the four big features on Saturday night. Upwards of 200 racers are expected to vie for a share of an overall purse once again exceeding $80,000.

In addition to the on-track action, there will be a golf tournament, special sales at the various downtown retail stores and other community happenings.
For a limited time, all pricing remains the same as in 2014. Single-day adult grandstand tickets are just $20 for Friday’s program and $25 for Saturday’s show, but fans can save by purchasing a two-day pass for just $40. Kids ages 6-12 are admitted for only $12 each night, while a kids’ two-day pass is just $20.
Limited reserved seating is available, with adult two-day passes going for $50, while kids ages 6-12 can get a two-day pass and reserved seat for just $30.
Also, limited reserved camping on the Raceway grounds is available for just $30 for the weekend. There is also camping available on the privately-owned property to the east of the track, but that is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Fans who purchased reserved seats or campsites for last year’s Red Clay Classic, or racers who purchased pit spots for the 2014 show, have until August 8 to renew their reservations. On August 9 all remaining seats, sites and spots will be made available to the general public.
To buy tickets or to save a seat or campsite, fans can call (715) 682-2672 Monday through Friday (evenings only), send an e-mail to [email protected], or inquire at the grandstand ticket window during any of the remaining regular-season Saturday race nights at the track.
Reserved pit spots are priced at just $30 each. Pit parking is available by calling (715) 746-2390 or by e-mailing to [email protected].
Information regarding access times to the grounds, pits and grandstands, start times for hot laps and racing, and the other activities will be released at a later time.
Prior to each night’s race program, “Z-93 Race Night” will provide up-to-date track news and weather information live on WBSZ, 93.3 FM, and online at www.wbszfm.com. The broadcast times will be announced at a later date.
The ABC Raceway is located 3-1/2 miles south of Ashland on State Highway 13 and one mile west on Butterworth Road. For raceday information call (715) 682-4990, or log on to the track’s website, www.abcraceway.com.
