Manitowoc Speedway, Friday, June 19th – A fantastic evening of racing was the order of the evening for the fans and racers as a super fast tacky track awaited them on a night honoring local service groups.

PROFESSIONAL PLATING INC GRAND NATIONALS – Spinouts plagued the Grand Nationals Feature, causing 5 restarts as drivers struggled to keep their cars from spiraling out of control. After leader Charlie Sancinatti(West Allis) spun from the lead, collecting Aaron Stolp and Shawn Schmidt, sending all three to the trailer for the night. Daniel Schumacher(Germantown) kept to the front of the pack despite all the restarts, taking the Checker flag as the race ended due to time restraints. Kodiak Wirtz( Menomonee Falls) came in 2nd with our Hard Charger of the Week Kevin Naidl(Cato) coming in 3rd after starting way back in the 16th position.

PROFESSIONAL PLATING INC SPORT MODIFIEDS- Brian Bruechert (Kewaunee) avoided disaster Friday night in the Sport Mod Feature race, steering clear of 5 different spin outs on his way to a hard earned checker flag. Rick Kretschmann (Sheboygan Falls) finished 2nd after starting in the fifth position, and JJ Anderson(Pulaski) coming in 3rd after starting in the 8th spot.

CALIBRE COATINGS UNLIMITED MODIFIEDS – Kyle Kudick(Two Rivers) took the lead in the 1st lap, lost the lead to Jamie Schmidt (Seymour) mid race, but regained it after Schmidt made hard contact with a lapped car. Mark Joski(Denmark) finished 2nd after starting off in the pole position and Joel Seegert (Sheboygan) finishes 3rd after starting 2nd.

BAILEIGH INDUSTRIAL LATE MODELS – Tim Buhler (GlenBeulah) took home a hard earned checker in the Late Model Division. After starting in the 7th spot, he forced his way through the crowd to take the lead during the 10th lap, and never let go. Russ Sheffler(Waukesha) took the 2nd place spot after starting way back in the 12th position. Rick Scheffler(Waukesha) finishes off the top 3 after starting in the 6th spot.

4 CYLINDERS- Ben Meyerhofer(Menasha) takes 1st this week in the 4 Cylinder division after taking the lead during the 11th lap as the race never stopped, running straight through to the checker flag. After starting in the pole position, Mike Meier(Chilton) dropped back and finished 2nd. Steven VanOudenhoven (Two Rivers) finshed in the 3rd spot after starting in 4th.

DEFAUT AUTO THUNDER TRUCKS- John Rothmund (Manitowoc) took an early lead and never looked back in the Thunder Trucks division Friday night. Craig Gessner(Kewaskum) brought in the 2nd place spot after trying valiently to catch Rothmund.
