SPRINT-MANIA comes to Plymouth Dirt Track

SPRINT-MANIA comes to the Sheboygan County Fair Park’s Plymouth Dirt Track
this Saturday Night June 13th. The night will be headlined by the
upper-midwest’s premier racing series, the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw
Sprint Series and include Plymouth’s own PDTR 360 sprints, plus a
“demonstration showcase” race for the new GM604 engine based non-wing sprint
cars which are gaining popularity throughout the country as an economy form
of true sprint car racing. 3 divisions of full size sprint cars for the
first time on the same night ever in southeast Wisconsin! Be part of history
and come on out to the Sheboygan County Fair Park this Saturday night, and
FEEL THE THUNDER!

Plymouth Dirt Track graduate, and former 360 Champion Ben Schmidt (Rhine
Auto #35) currently sits just 2 points behind IRA series point leader Bill
Rose. Rose who makes the tow from Plainfield, IN (near Indianapolis) for
every IRA event is a true sprint car veteran having competed full seasons
with the World of Outlaws, All-Stars, and USAC before making IRA his home in
2014. The 2015 edition of the IRA could be one of the most competitive in
the groups long history. A great mix of veterans like Rose, Scotty Neitzel,
Mike Reinke, Steve Meyer, Scott & Dave Uttech, Dennis & Kris Spitz, Bill
Wirth, Wayne Modjeski, Scott Biertzer, Rick Kelsey, Jereme Schroeder, Mike
Decker, and many more now do battle with youngsters like Schmidt, Phillip
Mock, Russel Borland, Scotty Thiel, Blake Nimee, Brandon Thone, Josh Walter,
Jordan Goldsberry, Jason Johnson, and more….. Plus ofcourse, “The North
Pole Nightmare” 7-time IRA Champion Bill Balog is also scheduled to be in
the house. A few drivers may even be doing double duty, such as veteran of
both 360 & 410 sprints, like Kurt Davis as a possible example.

It’s SPRINT MANIA this Saturday Night, June 13th, at Sheboygan County Fair
Park. Pit gates open at 3, Grandstand gates 4:30, with warm ups slated for
5:30, followed by IRA qualifying, with racing action slated for 7. Adults
tickets are $20, kids 6-12 yrs $5, and with youngsters 5 & under FREE. Come
on out, grab a brat and a beverage, and witness some of the best racing
you’ll see anywhere in the country. It’s SPRINT MANIA at Plymouth this
Saturday, come feel the THUNDER!
