Eagle Valley Speedway Gets Wet
on June 8, 2015 at 7:45 amJim Falls, Wisconsin (June 07, 2015) with only three complete shows in 2015 and needing a double feature night to accomplish that much, staff at the Eagle Valley Speedway worked overtime to prepare the track after rains from the previous night. It was the Budweiser / Country Fest ticket giveaway with six classes of cars on the track with the EVS Hornets, EVS Pure Stocks, and the WISSOTA Poly Dome Dirt Track Series sanctioned Street Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Super Stocks, and Modifieds. Unfortunately, before the heats could be completed, the rains fell again. The track was not in the condition to endure more moisture and the racing action came to a halt.
They will try again on Sunday, June 14, 2015 as Gordy’s Market presents the WISSOTA Afco Race of Champions Qualifier Night in the WISSOTA Poly Dome Dirt Track Series sanctioned Street Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Super Stocks, and Modifieds. The EVS Hornets and EVS Pure Stocks will be in action too.
