Military Personnel Welcome to ABC Raceway Opener on Saturday
on May 28, 2015 at 7:34 amAshland, WI — The ABC Raceway will again attempt to start its 2015 stock car racing season on Saturday night with by honoring America’s brave military personnel.
In a program to be presented by the Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce and the Northern State Bank, the Raceway will offer all military personnel free admission when they present their branch’s identification at the ticket window. The program will feature WISSOTA-sanctioned Modifieds, Super Stocks and Midwest Modifieds, as well as the track’s own Six-Cylinders and Pure Stocks, in heat and feature action.
Hot laps begin at 6:15 pm, and the first green flag of the season is scheduled to be thrown at 7. Adult tickets are just $10 each, and kids ages 12 and under admitted free with a paid adult admission. “Z-93 Race Night” will air Saturday on WBSZ, 93.3 FM, from 4:30-6 pm with up-to-date track news and weather information.
