Seymour May 24- 8:30 AM-The first leg of the Summer Holiday Classic is scheduled to happen tonight, Sunday May 24, at the Seymour Speedway.
The program will feature the Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Coors Light IMCA Stock Cars, O’Reilly Auto Parts IMCA Sport Mods, Turbo Blue Street Stocks and 4 Cylinders. The Thunder Trucks are also up tonight. These division will run their regular program but with the increased Holiday Classic pay.
The program will be highlighted by the second appearance of the WDLMA Late Models this season. This will be part of their Super Seven Series, a separate set of seven races within their 2015 schedule, that will earn bonus points and point fund above and beyond their regular season awards.
Tonight is also part of the Kim Parsons Memorial Trophy Tour. All race winners tonight will receive a Memorial Trophy, to help promote Organ and Tissue donation.
The pit will open at 3:30.
The regular season divisions will run by average.
The WDLMA Late Models will draw/redraw
Cut off for both at 4:45.
Pit pass for car and driver $30. Everyone else at #25.
Drivers meeting at 5 PM.
Racing at 5:30.
Grandstand opens at 4 PM
Special event pricing.
Adults 19-55 $15.00
Students 13-18 and seniors 55+ $10.00
Kids 12 and under FREE with paid adult.
Hopefully the weather co-operates today to get the Holiday Classis series for 2015 off to a great start.
