Oshkosh, May 22- Total Power Sales presented the fourth racing program of the season Friday night at the Oshkosh SpeedZone Raceway. It was an action packed, interesting night that saw 4 first time feature winners this season with 2 picking up first ever feature wins here at the Zone. All race winners received trophies from the Kim Parsons Memorial Trophy Tour for Organ and Tissue donation.

The Ellington Mutual Insurance Dirt Devils were brought out first for the feature portion of the night. Nicholas Goeman grabbed the lead at the start with Jiohn Stegner, Anthony Fletcher, Seth Hickman and Stephan Gilbertson behind. Point leader, Shaun Bangart, started making his way to the front with Cody Pankow, Mitchell Fairbank and Chris Maas. By lap 8, there was a five car bunch for the lead. On lap 10, The pack was entering turn three with Goeman still in charge. Gilbertson drove to the inside and the pair made contact. Goeman hit a tire in the skid and got up into the air and roiled over. He was not injured but the lead was turned over to Bangart for the restart.

One final caution for debris flew on lap 14, and for the final 6 laps, it was an all out battle for the top spot. Bangart was able to hold off all challenges and claimed his second feature win of the season. Mass was second with Stegner in third. Pankow, Fairbank and Wes Langwitz rounded out the top six,

Mark Howe grabbed the lead at the start of the iMCA Sport Mod main with Adam Peschek moving into the top spot on lap2. Several cautions early kept the field bunched with Peschek holding the top spot. Ryan Besaw moved into the runner up spot on lap 5 and 2 laps later was in the lead. Colten Van Hierden, Tom Schneider, Wyatt Block and Jon Schultz joined the lead pack by mid race.

A couple late race cautions altered the running order as frontrunners were all tagged for the amber showing. Besaw was able to hold off all challengers to the time limit shortened checker for his first win of the season. Van Hierden held off Block for the runner up spot. Jeff Steenbergen mad a run from the back to take fourth, Schultz was fifth and Cory Wegner rounded out the top six.

T.J. Smith grabbed the lead at the start of the Automotive Supply Co IMCA Modified main and withstood a barrage of cautions early to maintain the top spot. Once the green was out on lap 5, Smith led Mike Mueller, Chad Bartel, Chris Engels, Tim Robbins, Steve Schneider and Sean Jerovetz.

After a final lap 9 caution, Smith and Bartel pulled away in a tight race for the elad. Smith was running inside and Bartel was running outside. They ran side by side for a couple laps before Bartel secured the lead and held on to collect his first ever SpeedZone feature win. Smith took runner up honors with Engels ijn third. Tim Lemirande came from the back ofter an early incident to claim fourth. Schneider and Jerovetz rounded out the top six.

Outlaw Chassis Street Stocks were up next with Jeremy Kemnetz taking charge followed by Dan Knaus, Jared Spaulding, Frank Knaus, Jeff Wicinsky, Jesse Krahn and Lexii Ashcraft. By lap 8, the top 5 were in a scrum for the lead.

Kemnetz was still holding the lead and on lap 10, got together with Dan Knaus in turn 2, putting them both out of the race and turning the lead over to Steve Ecker. Frank Knaus, Steve Gawaresky and Wicinsky were now right behind for the final dash to the finish. Ecker ran the outside line and Knaus was right to the inside and was scored as the leader on lap 13. Ecker was able to retake control and scored his second straight feature win. Knaus took second with Gawaresky and Wicinsky next in line. Wayne Morgan and Patty Winkler made the top six.

The Total Power Sales IMCA Stock Cars rolled trackside with Josh Roehl leading the opening lap before Greg Wichman took charge. Travis Van Straten, Dylan Heilmann, Jerry Winkler and Tom Brumlic were tight behind. Even thought the front pack stay bunched, the race for the lead was a side by side battle most of the way. Wichman hugged the inside line and Van Straten used the outside lane. Wichman prevailed att he finish line with Van Straten to his bumper in second. Winkler took his best finish of his rookie season in third. John Heinz made a spirited run from the back of the field after an opening lap incident and placed 4th. Heilmann and Larry Karcz, Jr rounded out the top six.

The Gold Star Racing Supplies Grand Nationals saw Derek Schrauth lead the opening 2 circuits before Tim Doehling took over on lap 3. Brian Henry moved into the runner up spot a lap later and on lap 8, was able to take the inside route in turn 2 for the lead. Larry and Kenny Richards battled with Doehling over the final laps with Larry getting the runner up nosd at the finish line over Doehling and Kenny Richards. Schrauth took fifth and Tim Reichenberger rounded out the top six.

The high powered 410 IRA Sprint Cars make their first appearance of the season this coming Friday night at the SpeedZone. The Grand Nationals, Street Stocks and Dirt Devils will round out the program.
