Jim Falls, Wisconsin (May 10, 2015) brought about a difficult decision for the Eagle Valley Speedway as the heavy rain received midweek, ongoing high winds, cool temperatures, and high probability of rain in the forecast forced the cancellation of Sunday’s Mother’s Day race night. Speedway officials believed it was in the best interest of all involved as the fans, sponsors, drivers, and their crews all deserve the best racing surface and experience possible. Although countless hours were spent preparing the track during the week, the late rain made it impossible to groom it to its final race ready stage.

Jerry and Janis Weigel along with the entire staff at Eagle Valley Speedway are excited for the next scheduled racing event, Sunday, May 17, 2015, as JP Mechanical sponsors all six classes of cars on the track with the EVS Hornets, EVS Pure Stocks, and the WISSOTA Poly Dome Dirt Track Series sanctioned Street Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Super Stocks, and Modifieds. The night will include a full card of racing action plus make up features for the May 03 event. Once again, Oium Blacktop and Kelly Oium Well Drilling and Pump Service will give away a bicycle to one lucky boy and girl!
