Eagle Valley Speedway Loses to Rain

Jim Falls, Wisconsin (May 03, 2015) the first summerlike days of spring brought the threat of storms to an early May evening and try as they may, Eagle Valley Speedway was not able to out race the rain. Under quickly darkening skies and lightning in the distance, the heats for all classes on River Country Coop night were completed. However, drivers quickly loaded their cars before the features could begin as the wind picked up substantially and the rain began to fall.

The Eagle Valley Speedway will return to action on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10, 2015 as the March of Dimes brings six classes of cars to the track with the EVS Hornets, EVS Pure Stocks, and the WISSOTA Poly Dome Dirt Track Series sanctioned Street Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Super Stocks, and Modifieds. The night will include a full card of racing action plus make up features for the May 03 event. Once again, Oium Blacktop and Kelly Oium Well Drilling and Pump Service will give away a bicycle to one lucky boy and girl!
