(Sturgeon Bay, WI) April 27, 2015 Press Release- A $1,000 payday will be waiting for the winner in the IMCA Stock Car feature Saturday, May 23 at Thunderhill Raceway in Sturgeon Bay, WI. The extra cash for the winner is courtesy of the Bull Pen Bar & Grill located in Forestville.

Costs to get in for the night will remain the same as a regular race night. Drivers and crew members with membership $20, without membership $25. Grandstand prices will stay the same too. Adults $10, Seniors / Students $7, Kids (6-12) $3. Children 5 and under are free. No entry or hidden fees. No minimum car count. Pit gates open at 3:30 p.m.

Heat races start at 6 p.m. Line ups will be set by point average. This will be a full IMCA and track points show. Local track historian Tom Wagner will be taking the microphone and calling the nights action.

For those traveling or that have never been to Thunderhill before, it’s a very racy 1/3 bullring. If you run low enough on the track it could be a considered a quarter mile. It’s a constantly smooth track with wide sweeping corners. New clay was brought in before last season started and the track holds more than enough traction high or low. Five divisions do battle every Saturday night through the summer. IMCA Modified, IMCA Stock Car, IMCA Northern Sport Mod, IMCA Hobby Stock and Street Stocks will compete.
