SEYMOUR SET FOR SATURDAY AFTERNOON ACTION
Seymour, April 9- Good to see some much needed rain falling today, and it will make for an excellent track Saturday afternoon as the Seymour Speedway sets up for their 2nd race of the 2015 season. The program will follow regular season admissions and payoff.
The Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Coors Light IMCA Stock Cars, O’Reilly Auto Parts IMCA Sport Mods, Turbo Blue Street Stocks and 4 Cylinder will compete on the 1/3 mile banked clay oval Saturday afternoon with racing at 1 PM.
The five feature winners will have an added bonus this week as Floors by Design and Giddy Up Western Wear and Accessories have posted an additional $100 for each division. They are also giving the Kids Club a boys and girls bike for the drawing Saturday afternoon. There will also be shirts given away during the program as well.
The pit gate will open at 10 AM.
Pit pass $25.00 with discounts for minors.
This week program will be draw/redraw, with the cut off at 12 noon.
Drivers meeting at 12:15.
Racing at 1 PM.
Drivers: Payoff will be made following the races.
The IMCA divisions will be running for state and national points.
The first full track point night will take place when the Seymour Speedway starts their regular Sunday night slot on April 19.
The grandstand will open at 11 AM.
Adults 13-55 $11.00
Students 13-18 and seniors 55+ $8.00
Kids 12 and under FREE with paid adult.
Racing returns to Sunday nights on April 19.
There will be NO racing on Sunday April 26 because of the FFA Auction at the fairgrounds.
Racing resumes on May 3 and will continue throughout the summer.
Forecast looks real nice for Saturday, so make plans to accept our invitation for a GREAT afternoon of racing action this Saturday, April 11, starting at 1 PM.
