Seymour, April 3- PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE

The 2015 season will kick start this evening, Friday, April 3rd, as the Seymour Speedway hosts an open practice session at the 1/3 mile banked clay oval from 5-8 PM.

Pit will open at 4 and the test and tune will last til 8. Pit pass is $15.00 per person.

Any car interested can take laps to set up for the first race in Northeastern Wisconsin, tomorrow, Saturday, April 4, as the Seymour Speedway presents the Spring Thaw.

Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Stock Cars, Sport Mods, Street Stocks and 4 cylinders will be joined by the WDLMA Late Models for the big afternoon of racing.

Pit gates will open at 10 AM.

All cars will draw/redraw with the cut off at 12 noon.

Drivers meeting at 12:15

Racing begins at 1 PM.

Pit pass $30.

Grandstand opens at 11

Admission: Adults 19-55 $15.00

Students 13-18 and seniors 55+ $10.00

Kids 12 ans under FREE with paid adult.

With racing at 1 PM, you will be able to be courtside to watch the Badgers play at the Final 4 at 8.

For the first time in 2 years, the Spring weather is co-operating for the track to host this event. The forecast is excellent for the next 2 days, so plan on getting out of the house for the first race of 2015.

The Spring Thaw kicks off with practice tonight from 5-8 and the big race tomorrow with racing at 1 PM.
