Seymour opens with the Spring Thaw this Saturday April 4, Practice Friday

Seymour, March 30 – The Seymour Speedway will be the first track to open in 2015 with the Spring Thaw taking place at the 1/3 mile banked oval this Saturday, April 4. The program will feature the Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Stock Cars, Sport Mods, Street Stocks and 4 Cylinders, along with the WDLMA Late Models.

The special opener will start on Friday evening, with an open practice session from 5-8 PM. Pit will open at 4 PM. Pit pass will be $15.00. Anyone can use the time to test and tune their cars for the opening race on Saturday. The grandstand will be open FREE of charge.

The Spring Thaw will start on Saturday with the pit opening at 10 AM. Pit will be $30 per person.

All cars will draw / redraw for the days racing. Draw cut off will be noon.

Drivers meeting at 12:15.

Racing starts at 1 PM.

Grandstand will open at 11 AM.

Adults 19-55 $15.00

Students 13-18 and seniors 55+ $10.00

Kids 12 and under FREE with paid adult.

The forecast looks very positive for the weekend.
