SEYMOUR PRACTICE SATURDAY, FIRST RACE APRIL 4

Seymour March 26- A reminder that N.E.W. DIRT will be holding a practice session at the Seymour Speedway this Saturday, March 28.

The practice is open at anyone wishing to test and tune their cars for the upcoming season.

Pit will open at 12 noon. Pit passes for everyone entering the pit will be $15.00.

Practice will start at 1 pm and last as long as cars want to take laps.

The grandstand will be open FREE.

There will be another practice session at the track next Friday evening, April 3, from 5 – 8 PM for anyone wishing to get a final test in before the Spring Thaw which will take place on Saturday, April 4th. Pit pass will be $15.00.

The Thaw will take place on Saturday afternoon with Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Stock Cars and Sport Mods, Street Stocks and 4 Cylinders. Joining the program will be the WDLMA Late Models.

The IMCA divisions will be sanctioned and will earn regional, state and national points. Track points will not start until April 19th.

Pit will open at 10 AM. Pit pass for everyone will be $30.00.

All cars will draw/ re-draw. Draw will close at 12 noon.

Drivers meeting at 12:15

Racing at 1 PM.

Grandstand will open at 11 AM

Adults 19-55 $15.00

Students 13-18 and seniors 55+ $10.00

Kids 12 and under FREE with paid adult.

Racing is scheduled to continue at the Seymour Speedway the following Saturday, April 11. It will be the rain date for the Thaw if needed, or a regular racing program. We can also use Sunday April 12 as a rain date if needed. Start time will be 1 PM that weekend. No other local tracks start until April 18.

The 2015 point season will start on Sunday April 19 with racing at 5:30 PM.

The track has been worked for 2 weeks and is ready to go.

It will be chilly Saturday, but it is also your first chance to get to the race track for 2015.
