SPRING THAW UPDATES

Seymour, March 21-The Spring Thaw race coming to the Seymour Speedway on Saturday, April 4 and the following race on Saturday April 11 will be IMCA sanctioned races.

Even though the track point season will not begin until April 19, all three divisions, Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Stock Cars and Sport Mods, will be eligible for state, regional and national points.

With the weather continuing to allow daily work on the track, the club will plan to add another practice session at the track this coming Saturday, March 28 starting at 1pm. The pit will open at noon and the track will remain open as long as cars want to practice.

The cost for this practice and the one scheduled for Friday night, April 3rd, from 5-8 PM, the day before the Spring Thaw, will be $15.00 per person entering the pit.

The grandstand will be open FREE for anyone wanting to watch the cars hit the track for the first time in 2015.
