IRA Outlaw Schedule change

The Oshkosh Speedzone has made a schedule change for the IRA outlaw sprint cars. There were some scheduling conflicts with the dates set for the IRA shows. Steve Sinclair and Larry Stratton talked about some dates that fit into both schedules.

May 29, 2015 will now be the first IRA Outlaw Sprint car show. The show will consist of Grand Nationals, Street Stocks, Dirt Devils and Sprint cars. The purse for the Grand Nationals, Street Stocks and Dirt Devils has yet to be decided but will be for track points!

The second change will be scheduled for July 24, 2015. This show is a little later in the year and sure to be a high powered date! This event will be Round II of the Triple Crown Series “King of the Ring” for the IMCA Modifieds. Also on the card will be the IMCA Stock Cars and IMCA Northern Sport Mods. The IMCA Modifieds will be racing for $1000 to win! The IMCA Stock Cars and IMCA Sport Northern Mods will be racing for $500 to win.

The Oshkosh Speedzone will kick off their 2015 season May 1st with 6 action packed divisions, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Northern Sport Mods, Grand nationals, Street Stocks and Dirt Devils. These divisions will compete on a weekly basis unless noted on the schedule.

May 15th the high horse powered Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will make their first ever appearance in Wisconsin and the Oshkosh Speedzone. You have seen these cars and stars on TV now see them live at the Speedzone. There will also be a meet and greet session for the fans to get autographs and pictures with these stars. This will also be Round I for the Triple Crown series “King of the Ring” for the IMCA Modifieds. This is a 3 race chase for the Crown and all three rounds the Modifieds will be racing for $1000 for a total of $3000.00.

Coming back to the Speedzone on June 27th and August 29th will be the AMA (American Motorcycle Association) races with also a vintage swap meet on one of the dates.

On August 24th will be the famed George Scheffler Memorial / Hales Corners Reunion Corn Belt Clash Late Model series. Late models will be racing for $7000 to win and this will be the final round, Round III for the Triple Crown Series “King of the Ring”. A champion will be crowned for the IMCA Modifieds. The Grand Nationals will be racing for $500 to win plus a Hales Corners Race of Champions.

Rounding out the 2015 race season at the Oshkosh Speedzone will be the Action Packed 2015 Speedzone Fall Classic on Thursday, Friday and Saturday September 24th, 25th and 26th.
