OSHKOSH, WI – Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model

After three years of working trying to secure a date for the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model series it has finally been done.

Working with Tony Izzo Jr from SRP (Sixteen Racing Promotions) and LaSalle Speedway in Illinois have come up with a date. LaSalle Speedway has had two night in May to run a Lucas shows and have decided to move the Friday show to the Oshkosh Speedzone in Wisconsin.

This will be the only stop in Wisconsin for the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model series. Lucas Oil along with Tony Izzo Jr and the Speedzone management thought this would be a perfect match for the Late Model series and the Speedzone.

With names such as O’Neal, Owens, Bloomquist, Francis and many more that you have seen on TV plus our local drivers such as Parker, McGrath and Anvalink will put on a magnificent racing program.
The two show combination will be in May. Friday May 15th will be at the Oshkosh Speedzone and Saturday May 16th will be at LaSalle Speedway, these are two dates you don’t want to miss!

Other supporting Divisions have yet to be determined but may consist of IMCA Modifieds and the Speedzone Street Stocks. Plans are already in the works for a three race series for the IMCA Modifieds as well as a multi track points series for the IMCA Modifieds, Sport Mods, Stock Cars and Street Stocks.

The 2015 season kicks off Friday May 1st with practices two weeks prior to the opener as well as the Speedzone Car show.

The Speedzone is located at 460 E. County Rd Y on the Sunnyview Expo Center/Fairgrounds
just off of Highway 76 and 41.
