Thunderhill Raceway rained out Saturday August 16 2014 / Trail Race of Destruction added to championship night

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) August 16, 2014- Thunderhill Raceway battled mother nature all day but in the end to much rain and serious impeding weather has cancelled Dairy Queen night. The staff did all they could in keeping pace with the rain since 8am. Several measures were taken to try and hold the track but all hopes were washed away with another dose of moisture. Radar also shows another large group of thundershowers heading into the area, so we have been forced to pull the pin.

The Kids Big Wheel and Power Wheels races will be moved to next week August 23. Next Saturday will also feature Powder Puff and Mechanic’s races. Brought to you by 911 Lawn Care and Wood Products.

Five divisions do battle every Saturday night through the summer. IMCA Modified, IMCA Stock Car, IMCA Northern Sport Mod, IMCA Hobby Stock and Street Stocks will compete on the 1/3rd mile clay oval.
