IMCA Modified Winner Gets $1000…Trailer Race of Destruction This Friday, August 15th at Luxemburg Speedway

(Luxemburg, WI)- The Cory Jonet Memorial returns to Luxemburg Speedway this Friday Night, August 15th. This is the second year for the memorial. Last year saw over twenty participants. Racing gets underway at 7 p.m. All 5 divisions will be in action. Village Kitchen is the Sponsor for the evening.

The IMCA Modified winner will go home with a $1000 pay day this Friday night. Eddie Muenster picked up the win last week in impressive fashion. Jason Czarapata is in search of his first ever IMCA Modified crown at Luxemburg Speedway. He owns a 21 point lead on James Tebon.

Brandon Czarapata is inching closer to his third straight title in the IMCA Stockcar division. He won his fifth feature of the season and opened up a 5 point advantage over Rod Snellenberger.

Lucas Lamberies picked up his second Main Event win of the season in the IMCA Sportmod division in a season where he has run on a limited basis. Andy Kleczka had another strong top three finish. He now holds court in the standings by 7 over Troy DeGrave.

Marcus Moede won the opening night IMCA Hobby Stock Feature and finally knocked off another win this last week. Derek Moede won last year’s title and is in good shape for number two with a 13 point cushion on last year’s Co-Champ Dan Van Pay.

A classic battle ensued last week in the Street Stock division with point leader Keith Kickbusch and visitor Jerry Winkler. The lead was swapped numerous times with Winkler eventually getting the win. Kickbusch still had a good night in the standings and now holds an edge of 26 tallies over Andy Fuhrmann.
