(Francis Creek, WI)- Early season gremlins will prevent Kevin Naidl from having the point lead right now in the Grand National divisions. But that is not to say that he isn’t on the move in the standings after his fifth straight feature win.

Other feature winners included Tim Czarneski(IMCA Modifieds) Dustin Loberger(IMCA Stockcars) Cody Schroeder(IMCA Sportmods) Keith Kickbusch(Street Stocks) and Shaun Bangart (4 Cylinders.)

Randy Markwardt ran up front to start the IMCA Modified Feature event. He paced the first two laps in front of the field but not without heavy pressure from Tim Czarneski. Czarneski who won the Red race early in the season found the same line around the 1/3 mile and took control up top on lap three. A couple of cautions kept the field close but Czarneski was able to pull away on the restarts. A battle for second took place between Mike Mashl and Troy Jerovetz. Mashl would eventually win the race for second and set his sights on the leader. Mashl was able to inch closer and as the white flag flew get to a car length back. On the final two corners, Mashl shot down low but came up just short of the win. Czarneski won the coveted feature win plaque in front of Mashl. Jerovetz survived a late race battle with Eric Mahlik to finish third. Josh Long finished fifth and moved into second place in the standings.

Paul Holschuh led the field to the green flag in the IMCA Stockcar Main Event and led the first four laps. Justin Jacobson moved on top of the track and jumped into the lead with Rod Snellenberger right behind. Snellenberger shot into the lead on lap eight and paced the field with Jacobson in tow. The duo would come together sending Snellenberger to the infield and back to fourth. Dustin Loberger was able to take advantage of the raucous and steal the lead. The final ten laps saw Loberger lead the charge in front of Snellenberger, Jacobson and Bret Koehler. The second through fourth positions swapped numerous times on the way to the checkered flag. Loberger stayed ahead of it all to take his second win of the season. On the final lap, a three-wide battle into the final corner saw lots of contact and allowed Jacobson to grab the second spot ahead of Snellenberger and Koehler. Todd Augustian finished fifth.

Cody Schroeder earned his first career IMCA Sportmod Feature win last week. He decided five laps into the main event to win number two. Schroeder passed early leader J.J. Tuyls on lap four and set sail in front of the field. J.J. Anderson picked up spots and found himself in second with six laps remaining in the contest. Anderson drove the #94 as hard as he could up top as Schroeder maintained the bottom. Anderson ran out of time as Schroeder won in back to back weeks. Brandon Long increased his point lead by finishing third in front of both Tuyls and Brian Bruechert. The feature event was caution free.

Mike King Jr won his heat race and looked to be on his way to a Grand National Feature win until Kodiak Wirtz came along. A lone caution allowed Kevin Naidl to join the front runners and make a bid for his fifth straight win. Wirtz and Naidl went out front and played the cat and mouse game. Naidl felt out different line while Wirtz stayed on top. A lapped car would slow the momentum of Wirtz allowing Naidl to run to the inside. Naidl came around and performed a perfect slide job on Wirtz coming out of turn two with a few laps remaining. Naidl held off the pressure to take the fifth straight win. Shawn Schmitt finished third ahead of Scott Stewart and King.

A wild Street Stock Feature saw lapped cars become a factor a few times for the front runners. The lead swapped a few times early with Chase Parker and Matt Warner out front. Warner took command of the race but Paul Diefenthaler came hauling the mail in second. Diefenthaler made his way underneath the leader and took the top spot on lap nine. Keith Kickbusch made his way to second as Diefenthaler made it into lapped traffic. Kickbusch ran low at the same time that Diefenthaler had to go high for a slowed lapped car. Kickbusch grabbed the lead until a red flag for a rain delay at lap seventeen. When the race restarted Kickbusch earned his fourth win after getting a great restart. Shawn Haydon was able to gain a point in the championship standings with a late pass on Diefenthaler. Matt Reinke had a season best fourth place finish ahead of Mike Conard.

Nathan Lisowe led the 4 Cylinder Feature early but Shaun Bangart came a calling and into the lead on lap four. Bangart was followed by Matt Brehmer to the front. Bangart maintained a five car advantage the rest of the feature to pick up his second win on the season. Scott Johnson finished third with Lisowe and Brandon Kaye rounding out the top five.
