Rice Lake Speedway Returns to Action on June 21st
on June 15, 2014 at 10:36 amRice Lake WI – After taking last Saturday night off following the successful running of the George Rhoe Classic on June 14th, the Rice Lake Speedway returns to action on Saturday, June 21st.
For the drivers in the WISSOTA sanctioned classes, it will be an important night as it will be the qualifying night for the Race of Champions event at the WISSOTA 100. All four of the feature winners in the WISSOTA sanctioned classes will automatically qualify for the AMSOIL Race of Champions events to be held during the WISSOTA 100 in September at the Dakota State Fair Speedway in Huron South Dakota.
For the spectators and the kids in particular, it will also be a big night. June 21st is Kid’s Night and at least forty bikes will be given away to kids in attendance at the races. Also, the Mid Northwest Region of Thrivent Financial and Russ LaPoint will sponsor the event and will be giving away one hundred bike helmets plus there will be door prizes for both kids and adults.
