JUNE 14 $300 STREET STOCK BOUNTY / MARCHANT’S MEATS NIGHT #5 AT THUNDERHILL

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) May 12, 2014- Thunderhill Raceway will head into night number 5 of Race Wars this Saturday, June 14 and is brought to you by Marchant’s Meats & Sausage of Sturgeon Bay. As a special treat from Marchant’s Meats as the Ribeye Sandwich will return to the concession stand.

Race Wars continue as Street Stock point leader Billy LeMieux won his fourth feature in a row, raising the bounty for anyone who can beat him to $300. This money goes on top of the winners purse. Dating back to last season LeMieux has won 7 of the last 8 features.

Going in the record books is Todd Dart with his 49th feature win at Thunderhill in the IMCA Modifieds. Dart also holds the point lead by 6 marks over James Tebon. Dart is 1 feature win away from tying Charlie Kroll for the most main event wins at Thunderhill.

Shawn Havel leads the IMCA Stock Cars with a 3 point edge over Charlie Kroll.

Ryan LeMieux’s lead in the IMCA Sport Mods as shrunk to just 1 point over Chris Budzban.

In IMCA Hobby Stock action Jeremy Jauquet is clinging to a 2 point margin over Derek Moede.

Five divisions do battle every Saturday night through the summer. IMCA Modified, IMCA Stock Car, IMCA Northern Sport Mod, IMCA Hobby Stock and Street Stocks will compete on the 1/3rd mile clay oval.
