FULL $30,000 DRIVER CONTINGENCY LIST ON WEBSITE / WEEK 3 PREVIEW

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) May 29, 2014- A complete list of the $30,000 contingency program is now listed on the tracks website www.racethunderhill.com. It’s a fully detailed list for each division, sponsor, product and or corresponding dollar amount. To be eligible for the 2014 contingency prizes, no driver can miss more than 3 nights of racing the entire season and the driver must attend the season ending banquet. With this Saturday only being the 3rd night of competition, everyone is still eligible.

Palmer Johnson Yachts of Sturgeon Bay will be the nightly sponsor at Thunderhill Raceway this Saturday May 31, for night number 3. Palmer Johnson has been in business since 1918. They are an industry leader in designing and fabricating state of the art yachts.

Troy Jerovetz leads the IMCA Modifieds points with a 1 point advantage over cousin Sean Jerovetz.

Shawn Havel holds the top spot in the IMCA Stock Cars after his first feature win of the season. Havel holds a 5 point edge over defending champion Dave Bouche and former champ Charlie Kroll.

In IMCA Sport Mod action Ryan LeMieux has slim 1 point lead over last weeks feature winner Chris Budzban. Jarred VanLaanen sits third just 2 points back of LeMieux.

Jeremy Jauquet has 2 feature wins to his credit in the IMCA Hobby Stocks, which have given him a 2 point edge over Derek Moede.

Billy LeMieux has dominated the Street Stock division and holds an early 7 point edge over former champion Geno Sternard.

Five divisions do battle every Saturday night through the summer. IMCA Modified, IMCA Stock Car, IMCA Northern Sport Mod, IMCA Hobby Stock and Street Stocks will compete on the 1/3rd mile clay oval.
