Tiry Race Engines to give away engine at Speedzone
on May 26, 2014 at 9:04 amThe Oshkosh Speedzone is proud to announce with cooperative effort with Tiry Race Engines out of Ripon will be giving an IMCA Legal Spec motor away at the end of the 2014 race season to one lucky IMCA Stock car driver.
This promotion will kick off Friday May 30, 2014. The only qualifications are that an IMCA Stock Car driver must compete in at least 75% of all the remanding races starting with the 30th. The names of all the drivers that compete at the Speedzone will be entered into a drawing and the winning name will be drawn August 29, 2014. No extensions, no what if’s! August 30th we will be giving away the motor and the lucky driver can take it home that night!
Mike Tiry said that the motor is race ready and has been dyno tested. The motor will be on display in the Speedzone Tech shed once he completes the engine. The retail cost of the motor is $3995.00
Mike Tiry has been building race engines for decades and has many championships with his race engines on Dirt, Asphalt and Drag Strips.

Every Friday you will see 6 Big divisions take to the track, Automotive Supply Company IMCA Modifieds, Total Power Sales IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Northern Sport Mods, Grand Nationals, Gold Star Racing Supplies Street Stocks and the very competitive Ellington Mutual Insurance Dirt Devils.
Pits open at 4:00 PM, grandstands open at 5:00 PM with racing at 7:00 PM. Adults $11.00 students 11-15 $7.00 and children 10 and under free.
