Rice Lake WI – The Hall of Fame Committee of the Rice Lake Speedway met recently and voting was done to determine the newest members that will be added to the speedway’s Hall.
Voting was done in two categories and named as members of the 2014 class for the Rice Lake Speedway Hall of Fame in the drivers category were Dave Zimmerman, Don Smith, Phil Strenke, Bob Conners and Howie Olson. Elected in the friends of the speedway category were Bob Heffner, Dick Kelnhofer and Milo Hegna.
These eight gentlemen, members of the fourth class elected to the Hall, will join the twenty four existing members of the Hall. The official induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, August 9th as a part of the speedway program on that night.
